![]() ![]() I’m not sure about its stability yet, as I’ve seen a few odd minor glitches after installing this, but can’t say that its tied to BetterSnap. The drop zones work & are reasonably unobtrusive, still there’s a tiny bit more work to do there. Other apps have done this, Cinch for example, & may have been the basis of a similar feature MS put into into Windows 7.īetterSnap is worth a try & its worth a buck or two to the developer for a job well done, even if you conclude its not for you at the end of it all. You can set those drop zones up for only certain apps, so that they aren’t getting in your way when another application is active. If you need even more than those standard. This enables you to easily maximize your windows, position them side by side or even resize them to quarters of the screen. You can indicate configurable drop zones, small hotspots on your desktop into which you drag open windows & BetterSnap places them exactly where you want them & what size. BetterSnapTool allows you to easily manage your window positions and sizes by either dragging them to one of the screens corners or to the top, left or right side of the screen. Out of the box, there are several useful default choices, but you can customize your own. I tried it though I own others that do very close to this.įor a decent price, you are getting features for which other similar apps charge extra. There are several good apps like this out there & this is possibly the best, or one of the best available to date. It really needs to do this, as otherwise it can be confusing as to why the app does nothing.įor $2 this app is an absolute no-brainer - it does far more than many apps that cost 5 times that price! The only bad thing I found in BST is that it does not automatically remind the user to add it to Security & Privacy -> Accessibility. So in total you have 6 different actions that can be assigned, which is very useful. I particularly like the ability to override the window title buttons (red/yellow/green) - a feature I have seen only in BST and Flexiglass, and BST does it far better: with a long list of possible actions that can be assigned to either the right mouse button or middle mouse button, on any of the three buttons. The new Snap Area feature is also very clever and useful. ![]() I also really like the popup menu that can be put on a shortcut, meaning you can get access to all the window snapping options without assigning every one to a shortcut. ![]() The basic window snapping functionality works perfectly, with a great range of configurable shortcuts. I have also tried Spectacle, which is free, and that is a good tool - but BST just does a lot more. Previously I used Flexiglass, which costs $10 and does far less than BetterSnapTool (BST). Not only that, it is also one of the cheapest! I have tried just about every window management/window snap tool available, and this is one of the very best. ![]()

Therefore, however, maintaining or doing any work on the dropper is a bit more of a chore. Thanks to the hydraulic mechanism, it requires very little force to actuate and the pressure point feels pleasantly defined. In size L, the bike comes specced with a 175 mm RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post which can be inserted all the way into the frame, offering maximum freedom of movement. The added weight is insignificant given the advantages regarding modulation and reliability thanks to the optimised heat dissipation. We would recommend upgrading to a bigger 200 mm rotor at least at the front, but preferably also at the rear. These don’t do justice to the bike’s potential and overheat very quickly on steep descents. The in-house Fillmore valves don’t rely on your standard, removable valve core, so they’re less prone to clogging up when topping up with sealant. The MaxxGrip rubber compound provides lots of grip up front, even on wet roots and rocks. We highly recommend upgrading to the more robust EXO+ or Doubledown casing to be able to run lower tire pressures and avoid damaging the rims. ![]() Unfortunately, higher tire pressures come at the expense of grip and damping. However, both tires have to make do with the thin EXO casing, requiring you to run high tire pressures to protect the expensive carbon rims. I’m not a massive shampoo connoisseur, if I’m honest, but as far as they go this is decent. Good marketing, Bumble! The whole range is designed to protect your hair, soften, detangle and defrizz, whilst remaining lightweight and not bogging your hair down. I have deduced that the primer is just a heat protectant, and they’ve called it a primer because primer’s are seen as such an important step in the beauty world. I got the full sized shampoo and conditioner, and a travel set which included a mini shampoo, mini conditioner and primer. I still am not totally happy using silicones every time I wash my hair, so I’ve been alternating between these and my Naked Rescue shampoo and conditioner, which I bought on Fragrance Direct for under £2 each after my Green People free from products ran out. How do I know this, you ask? Well, normally silicone (anything ending with -cone) is the fourth or fifth ingredient in conditioners, but it’s crazy low down the list for the Invisible Oil conditioner. Thankfully, the Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil range is sulphate free, and although there are silicones in the conditioner, it’s a lot less than in normal products. Let me explain – I asked for it before I cut silicones and sulphates out of my hair care routine, so I was instantly gutted thinking that I’d have to sabotage my new hair care in order to use my new products. ![]() ![]() I have accepted that some things, like Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and Glamglow Supermud, will be on my wish list a VERY long time before I get to try them, but I did really want to try B&B so I added it to my Christmas wish list early on, and then promptly forgot about it so I was nicely surprised but also a bit annoyed when I got it.
